He is a co-founder of DEREAL Studio and an active educator who develops and shares tools for the creative-tech community.

Specialising in body tracking, motion capture, creative coding, and audio-visual/visual-audio interaction, he enjoys experimenting with diverse visual styles and technologies. His goal is to transform simple, everyday themes into playful interactive experiences.

Kohui (@ko_hui_) explores relationships shaped through sound, with a focus on the act of sensing it. Observing natural phenomena, forms, methods, and the structures of today's technologies, he designs algorithms that generate relationships between the predictable and the unpredictable. He has presented audiovisual performances at ACT Festival, WeSA Festival, Unfold X 2025, ISEA 2025, MUTEK Montreal, and in Tokyo, and has exhibited at the Seoul Museum of Art, the National Asia Culture Center, and Platform-L. Selected as a HYUNDAI ZER01NE Creator in 2022, he founded the artist collective TAKA in 2024 and has served as an adjunct professor at the Korea National University of Arts.
